One of the most interesting features of our Smart City application is that people can use speech to ask information about places. The search can be performed regarding different properties, such as functionality or name. The application can respond with some general information regarding the inquired site or a route describing how to get there. Moreover, if the system detects some kind of ambiguity in the request, a dialogue between the user and the device is established in order to determine the concrete place the user is asking for.
The main feature of the developed technology its specialization. Other products are designed as general purpose assistants, while ours is trained to respond to a specific set of topics. This approach cannot provide answers to any kind of question but allows a better accuracy in the targeted domain. For example, Smart Campus does not provide weather information but is more accurate detecting questions about building usages or smart city available services.
